Postsecondary Learning, Access and Needed Support for Students with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (PLANS), a collaborative effort between University of Oregon UCEDD, the Oregon DD Council and The Arc Oregon, proposes to work with a cross stakeholder team including students experiencing I/DD and their families, the Oregon ADD Network (OHSU’s UCEDD, Oregon Disability Rights), state agencies (OVRS, DHS, ODE), universities and community colleges, Oregon Association For Higher Education and Disability (OR-AHEAD), family and advocacy groups (R.I.S.E., FACT), and K-12 educators and transition programs serving students 18 – 21 to develop a five-year plan for increasing inclusive and authentic postsecondary opportunities for students with I/DD.
